Here you will find a list of frequently asked questions in relation to our retail repair service, should you not find an answer here please get in touch using the contact details on the right of this page.

There is no need to book a time slot, just pop into our retail store during business hours, the store location and opening hours can be found here. An engineer will book your computer into the repair system and get started as soon as possible.

We are able to provide a limited repair service for Apple computers & notebooks. Generally we do not source parts however we can fit any component compatible with you Apple computer if you order the part and bring it with you to our service centre.

Depending upon the nature of the repair, they can take anywhere from 1 up to 7 working days. Generally if parts need to be ordered for a repair it can take approximately 3-5 working days for the parts to arrive and be fitted.

We do not allow customers to wait while a repair is being carried out, this is due to health and safety and more importantly repairs can take a few hours to complete and engineers are not specifically working on one repair during this period.

We have a diagnostic service charge since our BubbleTech engineers can sometimes take up to 2 hours to diagnose a repair after which the customer may decide not to proceed, it is to cover this cost.

  • Customer comes into the store and books their computer for repair
  • The engineer takes the customers details, problem outline and takes a detailed inventory of all parts left.
  • The customer is then given a receipt for the repair, this MUST presented on collection of the computer
  • Once the repair has been completed or should a BubbleTech require further clarification or authorisation they will get in touch via the provided contact number.
  • Once all the work is completed the computer can be collected during business hours

We do allow friends or family to collect a computer on your behalf if you are unable to make it, however, they must have one form of photo identification, the repair receipt and pay all outstanding repair costs, before we will release the computer.

In reference to software repairs we offer a 1 week guarantee, if the problem re-occurs we will fix it at no extra cost. Hardware repairs we offer a 30 day guarantee on the service and generally all parts have a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

All repairs are done by the BubbleTech Team, if an external engineer is required you will be notified before proceeding with the repair.

Payments are made in store, we do not accept over the phone payments currently.

If for some reason we are unable to repair your product, we will refund your repair charge in full.

We can repair most computers & devices of any age, but sometimes this is not the case if we cannot obtain replacement parts or supported software

If your computer or device is very old, then it may not be worth fixing. However, we can clone the old files and transfer them to your new computer or device.

Yes, you will know all costs, including VAT, before we do anything. There are no surprises and no hidden charges.

We never remove or otherwise touch your data apart for backup purposes (which we’ll always go over with you first.) We take data security very seriously, and are trusted by large companies with their most sensitive data.
